ENG 217: Writing Technologies is a two credit course that has not been offered for a few years, but is being brought back in response to student and alumni requests. In this course, students will learn how to use digital tools like InDesign, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and Flash, as well as some social-media and web-based tools like Twitter and WordPress. The goal of Writing Technologies is to provide introductory knowledge of a few common writing technologies, but also to equip students with strategies to help them adapt to the changing nature of writing tools as technologies.
