Looking for a course to work on a professional portfolio and a small project to put in that portfolio?
Then CUPID Studio is the course for you. This is a two credit course meeting Mondays at 3:35-5:15. You’ll build the foundations of your own electronic portfolio and work on a publishing project for a real client. Projects in the past have included course and program posters, newsletters, small scale research studies, sell sheets and rack cards, and web content. Clients have included the Dean’s Office, American Studies minor, Public Health Studies, the Writing Center, and many others.
PWR alumna Rebecca Dodson recently tweeted about the course saying “Who’s teaching students to submit job apps.? @elonPWR‘s portfolio & resume class was extremely helpful – should be a req. for all #illteach”
And rising PWR Seniors – this is your change to work on your final assessment portfolio and get peer support before your drafts are due in January.
Hope to see you there next semester!
