For example, some ESL teachers work in bilingual programs that focus specifically on Spanish and English, or Chinese and English, etc., while others work in English-medium schools which represent dozens of languages. Along with focusing on strategies to be applied to these varied contexts, students enrolled in this course will also volunteer once a week in a local ESL classroom in order to put their learning into practice.
