About CUPID Lab The lab space is designed with elliptical tables and large, shared LCD screens that promote collaborative work among students. It is also an important software and equipment resource: the computers are all outfitted with Adobe Creative Suite 5 and Microsoft Office 2010 suite, there are printers for both color and black-and-white documents, and CUPID offers equipment checkouts for items such as Canon PowerShot digital cameras, voice recorders, and external hard drives. The available software and equipment expand students’ capabilities for developing their projects according to their creative ideas, giving them more opportunities to explore content and design possibilities. Open Hours The CUPID Associates run the Open Hours program in the evenings on select days of the week. During these hours, the Associates keep the lab open so PWR students may use the software and equipment. Students in other English classes may also use the space to complete classwork and projects. The Associates are also available during this time to offer assistance on PWR topics or the use of CUPID software.
