Expectations

Admittedly, my mind doesn’t work in a very artistic, visually creative way. I know what like when I see it, and certainly have a certain affinity for certain styles but I don’t know/understand many of the principles related to design. Clearly, I am not going to develop some new-found sense of visually creative talent, but I hope to leave the program understanding the principles, the what, the why and everything else that encompasses design – what makes it good/bad. So, my expectations are to at the very least being able to articulate ideas better than the average customer a designer or firm might come across.
