Having been a print journalism student at Elon as an undergrad, I don’t have a ton of experience with visual aesthetics. Besides some basic Photoshop work before I started bootcamp, I didn’t use any kind of visual program in my career. I’ve always enjoyed drawing, but don’t consider myself any god at it. For that reason, I’m very excited to learn more about this field. I discovered in bootcamp that I really like Illustrator and want to learn more about graphic design. I’m also hoping to learn more about art/color theory so in my professional career I can use it towards branding, identity and more. I think having all these creative skills as well as conceptual skills will make me more well-rounded for any position in interactive media, whether that be managing a project or building a website.
