Before entering the iMedia program, I was working as a graphic designer for FleishmanHillard. While client work is very rewarding, you are often under tight parameters, budget restraints or timelines. Design has always been one of my passions, but I wasn’t able to dedicate much time to personal projects while working at Fleishman. I am so excited about this class because it gives us incredible creative freedom to take the projects in our own direction. While we will still be dealing with (extremely) tight deadlines, I want to push myself to explore new areas of design and take on new challenges. I’m excited to learn new practices, tricks, cheats and industry trends. Throughout the semester I am looking forward to becoming more knowledgeable of the industry as a whole and learning from everyone else.
