This class will most likely be a challenge for me, but one that I know I will find the most rewarding once I overcome the assignments, which could potentially be a struggle! I have taken Art throughout my entire school career, and my family have always put an emphasis on exposing my sister and I to all types of art, architecture, museums and exhibits all over the country. I have to admit that being from London and so close to many European countries I have been spoilt for choice and lucky in the many things that I have seen. I was extremely happy yesterday to find out that art and the research behind the development of designs would be such an large part of this class. Although picking up a sketchbook again is slightly daunting, it is something I look forward to applying when I start my first assignment.
I have to admit that I had not thought about approaching or tackling digital design through an artistic way, therefore I am looking forward to combining both methods in the hopes that they will help me throughout this year, and it helping to shape my skills for when graduation comes and goes!
