Visual Aesthetics Expectations

My expectations for this Visual Aesthetics course are very high. Visual Aesthetics (in my opinion) are used in everything one sees, given they have the ability of sight. Therefore, studying how, what, and why something “looks good” is a topic I am extremely excited about. Furthermore, our focus in this program as a whole is interactive media, which can’t have any success if you don’t know what is visually appealing to your audience. So, learning the steps it takes to create aesthetics which produce positive stimuli to the viewer is an ability that I absolutely need and desire. All in all, I believe this will be a fun class. The chance to express ones artistic and creative ability while getting constructive criticism from ones peers will force me to be aware of my visual aesthetics in all project in the future.
