What The Font….

This movie definitely changed my point of view on typeface and how much we interact with it daily. Everything that we see some type of thought went behind the font. The creator chose that font because they thought it would be the best way express their thought or emote a feeling. Even now as I type this post I am very aware of the font as I type. The point of views in the movie were correct about how Helvetica is very neutral. Just looking at my phone most of the fonts are Helvetica or similiar, even in the console of this wordpress blog Helvetica is used to for the labels. It is easy to understand and easy to read. Now that I am aware of how much font can affect your design I am even more aware of how that choice could make my work a success or unsuccessful.
