For this class, I’m excited to learn everything I can about visual aesthetics. I feel like I’m capable of recognizing aesthetically pleasing designs…but I have no experience digging deeper to understand what it is about the design, that makes it pleasing to the eye.
I’m also intrigued to discuss the current issues related to interactive arts. After graduation we will be thrust into the real world. It will be valuable to have vast knowledge of all things interactive media, so that we can communicate intelligently in the workplace. The interactive media industry is constantly changing and evolving and it will be helpful to learn the treads in design.
After mastering visual ascetics I hope I will have the tools that will help me express creativity in my own designs. I understand that I’m not completely comfortable with this subject yet, but I’m looking forward to collaborating with my peers and learning everything I can from the experience.
