Anna Mokas

annaAnna Mokas is an English major with a concentration in Literature. She is from Manchester, NH and enjoys visiting the beach in Maine during the summer. She was part of the Foothills group for the Highway 64 Project of 2013. She is eager to apply what she has learned about travel writing to record her travels in Australia and New Zealand, and on other future ventures.

Noah Manneville

noahNoah Manneville is a senior studying International Studies with a minor in Asian Studies. He has studied abroad in China, and wants to continue exploring far-flung reaches of the world after graduation. Noah plays rugby for Elon University, enjoys listening to Steve Earle, and is a self-proclaimed amateur rabbi.

Dannie Cooper

dannieDannie is an English major with concentrations in Creative Writing and Professional Writing & Rhetoric, and has a minor in English Literature. She loves to travel, and has visited Australia, Italy, and Sweden. Dannie was part of the Coastal Team for the 2013 Highway 64 Project and wrote six pieces, including a travelogue of Tarboro Calvary Episcopal Churchyard and a profile of Columbia’s Vineyards on the Scuppernong.

Jeffrey Flitter

Jeff is a Media Arts & Entertainment major with a focus in Broadcast & New Media and a minor in Business Administration. Jeff is a part of the Foothills group that travelled to Mocksville, Statesville, Taylorsville, Lenoir, Lake Lure, and Hendersonville. Some of the pieces he wrote included “Balloons Rise” and “When Jeff Met Jeff.” He is currently the station manager at Elon Student Television. He interned with CNBC in London, True Blue Media in PA, and is currently a camera operator for Phoenix Vision at basketball games.

Anne Marie Glen

Anne Marie is an English major with a concentration in creative writing, and a minor in psychology. She spent a Spring semester studying abroad and working at the Poetry Society in London, England, and has visited numerous other countries. Next on her bucket list is a trip up and down Japan. Her dream is to write for a famous travel magazine and to have her novels and poetry published. Anne Marie was part of the Piedmont team in the Fall of 2013. She wrote “Tyler’s Taphouse: Modern Speakeasy,” and collaborated on “Do What You Know, and Do What You Love;” the Roger Person profile; and the Raleigh International Festival feature.
