Embrace and Circles

Embrace

The amount of stress and tension that is exuded by a strong embrace is palpable in this short film.  Through a dynamic exchange of emotional weight and burden, the two characters are able to take turns in who has power and support.

As far as the dialogue goes, it is empowered by the two characters never losing contact.  All of the camera shots are long and drawn out to build the tension throughout the scene.

Circles

Circles revolves around one man trying to explain his point of view to another.  The drawing he uses to explain everything parallels the story arc and emphasizes the stubborn nature of each character.

Both short films work well with their content to make a simple point seem the focus everything in the two character world.
