The story of botted water and cosmetics

First of all, the story of bottled water made me thirsty.

Second, I think this story (and the others) do a good job not only capturing your attention but keeping you engaged throughout the entire video. I liked how they showed Allison to give it a humanly, trustworthy feeling while mixing in the character illustrations. The illustrations offered a playfulness and innocence to some very important topics and made it easy to follow along. In addition, they made the message hit home. I liked how in the water bottle video they describe how many people think tap water is dirty, and then they show the animated water bottle factory polluting the tap water itself. In the cosmetics video, the use of animated skeletons really seemed to hit home that this is a serious, dangerous issue.

I also really liked the interactive component at the end where the viewer can choose to watch again, donate, sign up or get involved. It makes them feel like they too can do something to help the problem. Finally, I liked the fact that the site looked clean and that the buttons looked sketched. These components make it easy for people of all ages to understand and navigate the website. Last but not least, I liked how crisp the audio was and the use of sound effects. It made watching a somewhat depressing video fun I guess!
