Brenna’s bitching about Stitch Bitch

This is in English right? After reading Jackson’s Stitch Bitch I was left feeling just as she promised her favorite still of writing was “impure, improper and disorienting.”  To say that her style of writing is non-conventional is an understatement.

One of the only points that actually drove home to me was when she stated:

“Write in whatever WAY interests you, even if nobody wants to publish something that “experimental” that “bad” that old-fashioned, new-fangled or unfathomable.”

…because that’s exactly what she did. You are not who you think you are, you won’t get where you think you’re going, we don’t think what we think we think and I’m not what you think I am are all very broad, unanswerable statements that she chooses to head each paragraph with that never get answered through the following sentences.

However, if you can get past her style of writing, some of her thoughts and ideas on hypertext and progressive media are pretty interesting and thought provoking; but that’s if you can get past her style of writing.
