When looking at my schedule for this fall, I immediately thought Visual Aesthetics would be my favorite course. I’ve always had a great admiration for the arts (visual, performing, etc.) but I’ve never thought of myself as an artist. I hope this class will equip me with the skills to actually produce art, in a digital form. One of my main goals in pursuing this graduate program was to learn how to make things functional and pretty. In particular, I’m looking forward to learning more about infographics, motion typography and color theory. I consider myself to be a storyteller and this course will help me take storytelling to another level.
