What is CCL’s mission?

As CCL’s website states, CCL’s mission is “to advance the understanding, practice and development of leadership for the benefit of society worldwide” through the numerous programs that CCL offers. CCL stands for Center for Creative Leadership and they are a non-profit organization, which enables them to focus even more on the leadership development services they provide to their customers. With their five buildings in four different countries, they are able to reach more than 120 countries and over 3,000 organizations.

Who is their customer?

CCL has nearly 21,000 customers who are various types of leaders from the 3,000 businesses they deal with every year. The majority of their customers are for-profit organizations such as Sonoco, CrediCorp, and Xerox Corporation. However, they also train leaders from school systems and universities such as Boston University and Fairfax County Public Schools. The people they work with in their programs are often the leaders and managers of the organizations, such as company executives and floor managers who benefit the most from the seminars and training they receive while at CCL. No matter what company they work for, all customers are the people who wish to enhance their leadership skills to the highest levels.

What does the customer value?

Since CCL is a non-profit company, what the customers value is not monetary. Instead the customers value the high level of leadership training and skills they or their employees receive while at CCL. In addition, the customers value the ability that CCL has to match their customer with the program that best fits what the customer is trying to get out of their sessions. Since CCL has numerous programs, it is up to the workers at CCL to find the right match.

What are their results?

CCL’s results can be seen all over the world. Since opening in 1970 its impact has spread to over 120 countries and four continents from its initial single building. It has become known worldwide as having some of of the top leadership programs in the world and will continue to only get better.

What is our plan?

CCL’s plan is to continue to improve in any way possible. While the organization could easily continue as it is now and still be very successful, it plans to continue researching new ways for leaders to be effective and will continue to create programs that will tailor fit its customers desires.
