What Is Credit Suisse’s Plan?

Our discussion about Credit Suisse’s future was very limited due to confidentiality and insider trading regulations. During our limited discussion, our host mentioned that they planned on allocating their offices closer to the Raleigh area because of real estate costs and expenses. In addition, Credit Suisse plans on working to increase sustainability and will always plan on putting their clients needs first and work on keeping “a capital-efficient strategy to benefit from a more constructive market environment while limiting our risk exposure in down markets.” Some of the initiatives that Credit Suisse has taken that were not mentioned during our presentation is their green technology initiative. Credit Suisse has been greenhouse gas neutral in Switzerland since 2006 and since June 2010 they have been greenhouse gas neutral on a worldwide basis. What I found interesting about Credit Suisse was there 2-year training program and internship opportunity for rising seniors in college. Credit Suisse not only provides premier financial services but also a premier training program, which I found to give their company a step over the competition.
