Today, our class visited SAS, the world leader in business analytics software and services. With its corporate headquarters being in Kary, North Carolina, our class was able to see the hub of SAS and what makes it so successful. SAS was founded in 1976 and was created to help all sorts of customers ranging from pharmaceutical companies to academic and governmental entities. For the next several years the software and company of SAS thrived in the market climbing quickly to the top of the charts.

SAS’ mission is to help organizations anticipate and optimize business opportunities through advanced analytics that turn data about customers, performance, financials and more into meaningful information. With this goal, SAS has created fact-based decisions for undeniable success. Certain businesses see stats and figures as just numbers, but SAS identifies it as the core of your business.
