I believe if I would have not watched the sequence in the order that was specified, I could have possibly been confused with the storyline.  Although there was no narration, voice over or dialogue in the story line, the sequence tied well together.  The animation was amazing.  If the characters were not fictional creatures, I would have believed the setting was real.  It closely relates as to what we discussed in Xu’s course this morning in regard to avatars and how design and the web is becoming so innovative, things are taking on human characteristics from all angles.

Although I am not a fan of gruesome or gory stories I could appreciate the craft in which the animations were created.  Opinion never overrides talent.  I may not enjoy Terrell Owens as a person because is character is questionable, however, (prior to his recent injuries) I cannot deny that he is a phenomenal athlete.

I think the storyline is trying to say something about the media.  I believe the characters were little television sets.  I noticed they all embodied different stereotypes.  The elderly or disabled, the dog, the leader and her minion, the innocent bystander.  They all served a purpose.  I’m still debating on what purpose or the plot.  If I had to take a guess, I believe it is trying to set up the story for the dangers of future media?  It’s setting is dark and connotes that of a horror movie.  I think it was good work, very innovative and definitely a different way to bring across a storyline in a different genre.  I’ve never seen animation being used in that form.
