Evernote

Posted on: February 1, 2012 | By: Scott Hildebrand | Filed under: Tech Tips

I have been an Evernote user for quite some time. The biggest reason (aside from it being free) I adopted Evernote as my primary note taking tool was the ability to synchronize data between my devices. It’s a great place to store meeting notes, research, and web clips in one place. There are some great features built into Evernote, as well as, optional tools for download under The Trunk. For more information on how to better organize Evernote, take a look at this blog resource. FollowShare on Tumblr

Posted on: January 23, 2012 | By: Randy Piland | Filed under: Instructional Technologies

Apple’s Promo of the new iBooks Author http://www.apple.com/ibooks-author/ Two articles spotted by Janna Anderson – you must read both to get the details. The EULA for iBooks Author states Apple has some rights, and people are still discussing the implications for authors in regard to rights overall. The primary problem with creating your book with iBooks Author is that it isn’t yet easily transformable to use on other e-readers such as Kindle and Nook. You basically have to expect your audience will have to have an iPad or at least a device running Apple iOS to be able to see the book. But people say it is amazing to build with iBooks Author. http://www.engadget.com/2012/01/19/apples-ibooks-author-hands-on/ Who gets paid if you sell your book? http://venomousporridge.com/post/16126436616/ibooks-author-eula-audacity FollowShare on Tumblr
