A closer look: New features in Moodle 3.6

On Wednesday, May 29, Moodle will be upgraded to version 3.6 from 3 a.m.-7 a.m.

The latest upgrade offers several new features to help you customize your experience, offer feedback on assignments and identify duplicate content. This mandatory Moodle update also will refresh existing features and introduce minor look and feel changes.

During the update, Moodle will be unavailable to all users. All existing Moodle data will be backed up and restored during the upgrade. Learn more about new features below.

Customize your Moodle dashboard

The Moodle Dashboard is a customizable alternative to the Moodle home page that provides more control for arranging and filtering your course list. View the video below for a full tour of sorting and customization options or choose a specific feature to explore.
