I’m just going to say, WOW!! To have this video assigned was puzzling. Partly because I didn’t clearly understand what was going on but also because it just put me in a dark and gloomy mood!
I couldn’t make out the whole story and the certain details but I think I got enough information to make some sense out of it. I had to watch it a few times. Things became a little bit clearer after watching it in class and getting everyone’s input on the plot of the story. What threw me off was the robot hanging in the room but another thing and even a more puzzling part of this short film was the pizza guy getting shot. Everytime I watched it, I wondered to myself “what the heck did he do?” People getting shot, being hung and throw in a blind person and this short film just puts you all over the place, all over the place in a dark environment that is.
The audio helped out in the dark story as there was echo’s throughout the whole film to give a distant, lonely , dark feeling to the what was going on. Even though there were three different clips (which by the way, I watched out of order the first time)I think that they all tie in perfectly.
Will I ever get what is going on? Probably not, but the film is worth another few views!
