So no matter hard I try (visual aesthetics) follows me everywhere. These title sequences are are very interesting. Being a videographer everyone knows that you are only as good as your editing. Now people are stepping their “game” up on Titles / After Effects. We watch so many movies and television and I never think about how much time and effort is put into titles. I think that titles play just as a major issue as the video or movie themselves. People remember titles sometimes more than the movies it self. Now with affordable software such as “After Effects” you too can make movie and title effects like the in the movies. I was actually looking at a video this morning on where the title was floating in the sky on the street. The title was very interesting to me. There are so many different effects you can do just with a title. A title might be one of the most important part of the movie just because its the 1st thing that one looks at. It also can be the difference if someone decides to watch the film or not. It can also be the difference if the title can grabs one attention or actually take away ones interest to the film / commercial / video. This just had me think and re evaluate my motion type and what kind of effect it had on the song and music itself. How did it make one feel ? Is there things I could have changed to get the same feeling i get from the song ?
