My mans Rick Morris. What I took from his interview was interesting to say the least. He’s all about design. This much was evident when things opened up with his apartment and you could see his work. He has done work for several recognizable names which makes his makes his name and his work that much more credible.
I kind of related to Rick when it I realized that whereas he draws inspiration from a variety of things, one of those things so happens to be music. Whether it’s the beat or a phrase from a song, he uses such things to inspire his work. I can relate because music sometimes overlooked, is a huge part of my life. Lyrics and beats are constantly in my head and when I have a project or something due and need some inspiration, one of the first things I turn to.
One of the things he mentioned was about how everything is constantly changing and fast paced and how we should use whatever slow time is allotted to catch up on things that we put on the back burner and try to learn something new. I couldn’t agree any more. I mean, that is what life is about right? Learn something new everyday and when given the opportunity, perfect your craft of something that is on the side.
