The new HTML 5 elements make coding simpler, faster, and easier; but now this new CSS3 stuff seems so complicated, complex, and wordy. There are so many more cool effects I can do to my site, but with each comes a lot more complex coding, and more of this new language for my brain to organize. It makes sense that with cool effects comes complicated code, but then on top of that you have to make sure you have the specific coding for each browser to make sure everyone on any browser will get the same experience from your site. It makes me wish there was only one browser in the world, but I know that then there would be no amazing World Wide Web, and everything would be much more dull on my laptop screen.
After experimenting with CSS3 and reading this article, I am gaining more knowledge and confidence in how to make my sites cooler, better, and more enjoyable for anyone who happens to come across them. It all seems pretty complicated now, but I am excited to practice and learn the hang out it all!
