In the crazy fast paced world of today, it’s easy to get caught up in the pressure of efficiency, meeting deadlines at the last minute and forcing yourself to settle for quick fixes with average standards that will do the job for the time being.
I justify this all the time – when I do my finance homework using the answers in the back of the book to just get it done, promising myself I’ll take the time to really learn it and do it right before the test and that’s all that matters. But these quick fixes are dangerous.
“What happens if you get hit by a bus, quit to go backpacking in Alaska, or get abducted by aliens?”
What if I died without actually learning my finance homework? Or leaving behind an unorganized HTML document?
It’s not about doing it fast. It’s about doing it right.
