What theory?
I have no background in Theory and Audience Analysis whatsoever, since I have never had a journalism or any kind of mass communication course. Therefore, the questions I’m looking to answer this week are:
-what falls under the realm of mass communications?
-how has mass communication theory affected me/ been present in the news/ in society (whether I realized it or not)
-how is theory applicable to media production?
Pretty broad questions so far, but as I have no prior knowledge, I first need to learn what Mass Communications theory is before I can dive deeper into its nuances. Now for the plunge!
