Look at the Title

I think after this, I might just have to start paying attention to title slides. I know that I definitely have a new appreciation for them . Whether it’s the design, color, font, etc. there are several elements that are overlooked when it comes to the title slide.

“This Means War” was one thing that I looked at and was impressed with how good it looked. Looking at how it was developed, you can tell that there were long hours and hard work put into this. The design of it just catches my attention. I can’t really articulate why I like this one so much but the complexity of it and the design drew me in.

“Snow White and the Huntsman” was also one of my favorites. This might be primarly because of the font and how it stood out. The up close shots from the film also helped this one stand out. The audio for this only put it over the top when it comes to being a compelling piece. I think that whoever was behind this, wanted to send a dark message out and with the music and the font, I believe they did just that.

Like I mentioned earlier, there are elements to all of these that are overlooked, yet make each one of them individually stick out. Whether that be design, color, font, pictures, music; there are several things that go into making the title sequences compelling!
