Pica Towers

When I started watching the “Pica Towers” trilogy, I thought I was on the wrong website. Then after watching the first animation “The Good News”, I thought this was a complete joke. After watching “Hounds of Flesh” and “Pizza Sangre”, I sort of figured out the point of the trilogy, despite the fact I felt like I wasted five minutes of my life because they were too short.

But short enough to get to the point, for the most part I do understand or will use my imagination to create the rest. I believe what the creators Marc Craste and Studio AKA were trying to get out of its audience was a sense of emotion that these robots were somewhat human like. One was driving a car and another was blind and had a seeing eye dog. I felt bad when the blind robot never noticed the two robots being tied up and hanging in a ‘room of torture’.

Despite the fact that the films were really short and I still don’t understand half of it, I think the creators point was to tell a story in less than five minutes without using humans and have the audience figure out the plot for themselves.
