When watching the video it became very apparent that story telling is at the heart of everything. There is no better way to make people care about a subject than to give it a narrative quality.
You can create a beautiful info graphic but no one really cares unless you tell them a story about the information. You can force feed people statistics all you want, but in the end most people strictly care about the story. Why do I care about this? That’s the question you need to answer to engage an audience and story teling is the best way to do this!
I intend to use story telling as the basis for everything I do in the rest of this program! Yay for narratives!
