Hang on, I need to step up onto my soap box. This was extremely frustrating to watch. There is no reason for products to have these kinds of ingredients, there are already several alternatives out there, and people are just blindly purchasing things that are bad for them. There is no regulation whatsoever, prior to watching this I did not know that. How is it possible to allow these kinds of products into homes, I mean baby shampoo with toxins, really that’s a thing?
We have a two fold problem here, a government that is allowing this to happen, and a population that is unaware about the products they are bringing into their homes. The simple fact is that if enough people were saying something about this it would shed light on the situation, and it would probably improve, and our personal care products would be safer and more regulated.
I knew that many products had toxins in them, but the fact that they promote breast cancer awareness, while the product being sold contains cancer causing chemicals. There is just no way around this, everything we come in contact with has some kind of poisonous silent killer lying within. Yet very few people know about it and we are continuing to use things that are potentially harmful.
This was an interesting way to present this information. The simplicity of the animation worked really well. The animation did not get in the way of the live action at all. Putting animation and live action together could potentially be messy but this comes together rather seamlessly due to the style of the animation.
