In the beginning of the article I was intrigued by the architecture and then iPhone reference. It brought up a good point about the future….what will come after the iPhone website? Despite the fact we talked about this idea of flexibility in class I was still overwhelmed and a tad confused. I was not a huge fan of this article but it started to make sense towards the end.
I was fascinated by the concept of media queries and how they can be included in several places such as the style sheet but also the CSS of the markup. I found it interesting how the media queries allow us to practice some precise fine-tuning as the pages reshape themselves.
Overall, I found the last paragraph the most clear and helpful. It was straight to the point and informed the reader of the essentials. Fluid grids, flexible images and media queries are the three technical ingredients for responsive web design. I am interested in the message of this article but did not find it as clear as I would have liked.
