CSS…again.

This article was yet another recap of CSS3. For me, it was mostly review of the concepts we’ve been discussing day in and day out. There were some new terms though that caught my eye – hover, focus, form elements, browser, viewport flexibility to be precise.

To me, and many web designers alike, it’s crucial to match identical experiences between browsers for websites with visual interactions and animations. CSS3 enriches this interaction without worrying that the core message, layout, and accessibility will be hindered. You can focus on what matters and take your designs to the next level. Why wait to use CSS3?

Furthermore, text shadow and opacity is a tool I’m interested in as well – I’m really into fonting. My work is very stylized so I love playing with the visual aesthetics of an image or text. Thus, I enjoyed the chart that showed the CSS3 properties and what browsers support them. Very cool.
