Floating CSS

CSS is scary. I have to admit that it was pretty frustrating creating the HTML for my site, and now I’m wishing I could go back to it after experimenting with CSS. Part of the reason I’ve been struggling is because I am such a visual person, and coding does not allow me to virtually see what I’m creating until I open it in a browser. Then I will go back and read through all I’ve created in order to make edits. All in all, it is a very tedious process. I would love to see professional coders go to work on a site and create what would take me days, in minutes. This brings me to the passage on floating. I found it to be very helpful by telling me what to do in simple terms. It was as if the author was talking directly to me: “How do you like that green block? Oh wait, where is it? It’s there, right underneath the pink block.” There were many great points regarding containers and navigations that were applicable to my website.
