In the world of html and CSS any and every web developer will encounter floats. They will come to know the wonders and agonizing difficulties associated with these said floats. Essentially, the purpose of a float is to have an image fixated somewhere on the page, left, right, top or bottom and the text will wrap around the image, similar to a newspaper layout. Floats are not used purely just for images, they can also be applied to nearly any element in HTML.
There are various different elements of floats that need to be taken into consideration before using floats in the development of a webpage. For example how to use the stepbrother of a float, or to clear. How to correctly use floats to maximize the layout of the site.
