Although it may seem tedious to spend time cleaning up your markup, this passage gives some pretty good thought regarding why it is important for your website. It seems as though it is impossible for one to keep up with the ever-changing technology modern day society brings us, however, de-cluttering is certainly a helpful way to keep things in line with your markup. Web design is a long, intricate process, and having a messy markup will only slow this process down. It’s important to have everything organized, especially to help yourself. I didn’t even think of the factor that websites must be translated into different languages in order for them to work internationally- without a clean markup, this causes problems for your site. I enjoyed the Do’s and Don’ts section because it provided an simple checklist of priorities involving the removal of clutter from your markup. It is a great tool to use and look back at while we create our own web designs.
