Meet Jacob Wood, a second-year law student from Vienna, Virginia. Jake attended The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina for undergrad where he majored in Business Administration. In the freshman year at The Citadel he also joined the South Carolina National Guard where he continues to train one weekend a month. His interest in business and business law comes from his studies at The Citadel, working for local small businesses where he grew up, and wanting to learn more about how businesses operate within the law. Jake joined Elon Law’s Small Business and Entrepreneurship Clinic to assist individuals with their goals of starting a business while helping others with their business issues. He believes the Clinic will provide him with great practical experience and knowledge that he will be able to carry into his professional career.

Meet Paige Richardson, a second year law student from Griffin, Ga. Paige graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Sport Management. Prior to coming to Elon School of Law, Paige worked in various areas of sport such as recruiting operations, special events, promotions, and more. After taking her first year business course, Paige developed an interest in business law. She is excited to gain experience working as a student attorney in the Small Business and Entrepreneurship Clinic. Paige looks forward to expanding her knowledge of business law while engaging with the local community this Winter.
