Belk Library will have slightly different hours beginning August 20th.  See the updated end of summer hours below.

Aug. 20 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Aug. 21 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Aug. 22 6 p.m.-11 p.m. (open for Phoenix card holders only after 9 p.m., use card swipe)
Aug. 23 Noon-11 p.m. (open for Phoenix card holders only after 9 p.m., use card swipe)
Aug. 24-26 8 a.m.-11 p.m. (open for Phoenix card holders only after 9 p.m., use card swipe)
Aug. 27 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Aug. 28 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Aug. 29 Noon-11 p.m. (open for Phoenix card holders only after 9 p.m., use card swipe)
Aug. 30 7:30 a.m.-11 p.m. (open for Phoenix card holders only after 9 p.m., use card swipe)
Aug. 31 Resume regular fall semester hours

We are excited to anounce that Belk Library is on the latest cover of “North Carolina Libraries”.  The award-winning, peer-reviewed journal of the North Carolina Library Association.

Here are Belk Library’s summer hours:

Monday through Thursday, 8 am to 11 pm; the library closes to the public at 9 pm each night.  From 9 to 11 pm, Elon students and employees should use the card swipe to enter the library.

Friday, 8 am to 5:00 pm.

Saturday, 9 am to 5:00 pm.

Study Room, 2nd Floor

If you are looking for a quiet place to study during exams, visit one of the many study rooms Belk Library has to offer.  Study rooms are located on all three floors of the library and be sure to check out these two informational YouTube videos about study rooms.

Looking for something to read or watch? Belk Library student workers have recommended their favorite books or DVDs. You’ll find science fiction, how-to, poetry, comedy–even something for younger audiences. Check out the library display through Friday, April 2.

Want to share a secret about the library? Want to win a brand new Flip video camera? Then we want you!

Belk Library is looking for 60 second videos about the library. If you think you know something about the library that no one else knows, then we want you to create a video about it. Submit your entry by April 19, 2010 and you could win a Flip camera. Download a copy of the official video contest guidelines or pick up a copy at the Information Desk at Belk Library. Questions? Belk Library and the Elon University Center for Leadership present a display of items in the library about leadership. This display is part of LEADstrong, a weeklong celebration of leadership at Elon, Monday February 22^nd through Friday February 26^th.
