Susan Albertine, vice president for the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Student Success at the American Association of Colleges and Universities, led this workshop for faculty and staff titled “Reimagining Writing: How to prepare graduates for the lives they will really lead.”

Participants left with a new sense of what the writing in their classes can do for their students and with insights into ways they can use resources available from the Association of American Colleges and Universities.

A former public school teacher, Albertine has been nationally active in advancing pre-school through college alignment, working with the Education Trust and the American Diploma Project. She has served on the boards of many organizations, including the Council of Colleges of Arts and Sciences.
