Mr. Kurt Waldthausen is Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany to the State of North Carolina. He came to Elon University on Friday, 30 March, 2012 to to deliver a presentation on the German-American trade and business relations in North Carolina, current opportunities and challenges for German-based companies in North Carolina, future opportunities for growth and collaboration between North Carolina and Germany, and how knowledge of the German language and culture is essential for the economic growth of North Carolina.
