The Burlington Times-News and Elon University collaborate to host the first Community Connections panel of the 2016-17 series with the theme of Freedom of Expression. The event explores what freedom of expression means in American culture today and what role it plays in our daily lives at work, on university campuses and within journalism and media. How does it impact objectivity in the media or perceptions of bias in the media? Panelists include John Bussian, Media Attorney, Natalie Allison-Janicello, Reporter, Rich Landesberg, School of Communications, and John Robinson, former editor of Greensboro News & Record.
