Associate Director, Center for Civic Leadership, Rice University

Reporting to and under the general direction of the Director of Curriculum and Fellowships, the Associate Director will develop, implement, and manage experiential civic leadership programs directly relevant to the Certificate in Civic Leadership. In particular, the Associate Director will be responsible for managing the Leadership Rice Mentorship Experience and providing national fellowships advising. This work will be completed in collaboration with other CCL staff colleagues. The Associate Director will teach up to three credits of civic leadership coursework. S/he will assist in the cultivation and management of university-community partnerships, faculty partnerships, and alumni networks that enrich civic leadership programs. The Associate Director may lead special projects or initiatives, develop and lead workshops, and advise graduate and undergraduate teaching assistants. S/he may also have the opportunity to teach additional courses and/or serve as the CCL undergraduate advisor.
