The Student Coalition for Action in Literacy Education (SCALE) is hiring a Literacy Programs Director. This position is responsible for supporting student programs and events at SCALE. This includes overseeing the America Reads and Counts program and managing SCALE membership and training. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge of best practices in literacy instruction
- 1 year management experience
- 2 years teaching and/or tutoring experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive management experience
- Experience planning & coordinating events
- Teaching and/or tutoring experience in both K-12 and adult education settings
- Experience supporting college students
