Multiple positions, Georgia Health Policy Center, Georgia State University

The Georgia Health Policy Center at Georgia State University is an exciting place to work. Associate Project Director

The Associate Project Director (APD) position coordinates multiple areas of health policy focus (e.g. child health, public health, long-term care) through projects with local, state, and national public and private organizations in addition to ad hoc projects as required. The APD contributes to the work of multiple project teams to accomplish the deliverables outlined in each contract in a timely manner. This position guides programmatic, administrative, and financial management of projects and coordinates client management across all projects.

Senior Research Associate

The Senior Research Associate is a member of multiple research, technical assistance, policy development, and programmatic teams. This researcher will work primarily in the center’s three main areas of focus: health services research; health program design, implementation, and evaluation; and health policy development. The position will also manage the daily operations of grants and contracts.

Senior Research Associate – Medicaid Business and Policy Team

This position focuses exclusively on projects related to Medicaid and manages the daily operations of research projects as directed by the Associate Project Director and the State Medicaid Director.  Duties of the SRA position will include quantitative and qualitative research, report writing, and public speaking.

Marketing Manager

This position will work closely with the Assistant Director of Communications & Marketing and the Communications Manager on the overall marketing strategy for the center including public relations, digital strategy, collateral, outreach and more. The marketing manager will be responsible for website maintenance, e-newsletter design and distribution, and social media. This position also provides graphic design and editing assistance for deliverables and will be responsible for the development and implementation of communications plans for specific projects and initiatives. Research Associate II

The position is a contributing member of multiple research, technical assistance, policy development, and programmatic teams. This position contributes to the research team through qualitative and quantitative analysis, technical assistance, group facilitation, project coordinator and management of grants and contracts.

Research Associate I

The position is a contributing member of multiple research, technical assistance, policy development, and programmatic teams. The RA I will provide research and project support that contributes to a scientifically sound background for center activities. This position will also coordinate special projects as assigned by senior staff, facilitate meetings, and assist in the preparation, coordination and dissemination of communication materials.
