Introducing Mintel Oxygen, Belk’s latest resource for consumer market reports.

Mintel Oxygen provides consumer market reports for markets in the U.S., the UK, Europe and internationally.  While you will find market reports for major product areas like food, beverages, apparel and travel, you’ll also find information on green living and online shopping.

Market data includes market size and forecast, market drivers, segment performance, brand share, and retail channel data.

Mintel Oxygen does a great job supplying information on small niche markets like coffeehouses, nail care and products, air treatment appliances, cooking enthusiasts and volunteer holidays.

Some recent reports concentrate on attitudes toward sodium, back to school shopping, consumer cloud computing, beverage packaging trends, hybrid and electric cars, dieting trends, and online investing.

You’ll need to create your own login and password and you can access Mintel from your off-campus location just like all Belk Library databases.

Here’s what to do and not do in a Belk study room

Belk Library has free coffee and cider for you and just when you need it, late night during exams!  Listen for the announcement around 10pm every night December 8 – 12.

Belk Library and the Elon University Center for Leadership present a display of items in the library about leadership. This display is part of LEADstrong, a weeklong celebration of leadership at Elon, Monday February 22^nd through Friday February 26^th.

Due to inclement weather, Belk Library will close at 12:30 pm on Saturday, January 30. We will be open on Sunday, January 31 from 12 noon until 11 p.m.

To celebrate the life of Martin Luther King, Jr. Belk Library has several books and DVDs from our collection on display.

Any of the items on display can be checked out.
