Belk Library Game Night

Belk Library and the ACM will be hosting Game Night on Friday March 30 from 8pm until midnight.

Come out and play all your favorite video and board games.  Halo, Rock Band, Twister, Apples to Apples, and more.  Or bring your own games.

Food and drinks will be provided.  See you there!

In celebration of Women’s History Month Belk Library will have a display of materials through the end of the month.

Belk Library Spring Break Schedule

Here are the library’s hours during Elon’s spring break, which begins on Friday, March 16th.

Friday, March 16, the library will be open 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Saturday, March 17, the library will be open 9 am to 5 pm.

Sunday, March 18, the library will be open in the evening only, from 6 pm to 11 pm.  The library will close to the public at 9 pm; Phoenix card holders should use the card swipe from 9 to 11 pm.

Monday, March 19 to Thursday, March 22, the library will be open 8:00 am to 11 pm each day.  The library will close to the public each night at 9 pm; Phoenix card holders should use the card swipe from 9 to 11 pm each night.

Friday, March 23, the library will be open 8 am to 5 pm

Saturday, March 24, the library will be open 9 am to 5 pm.

Sunday, March 25, the library will open at 10 am, and will resume its regular schedule.

Foreign language literature display

This week in our display area we are highlighting our collection of literature in foreign languages.  For info on classes and programs in Foreign Languages at Elon see:  Elon’s Department of Foreign Languages.

 

We also have a display of information and books about the country of Georgia in honor of Elon’s Visiting International Scholar Giuli Shabashvilli, and her research topic:  “Second Language Education: Problems and Challenges in Modern Educational Environment.”  Located on the second floor near the DVDs.
