Here are the library’s hours for the end of Winter Term:
Monday, January 24 (last day of classes for WT), the library will be 7:30 am to 1:00 am, including 24 hour access for Elon students. The library will close to the public at 9:00 pm.
Tuesday, January 25, through Thursday, January 27, the library will be open 8 am to 11 pm each day, with no 24 hour access for Elon students. The library will close to the public at 9 pm each day.
Friday, January 28, the library will be open from 8 am to 5:00 pm.
Saturday, January 29, the library will be open 9 am to 5:00 pm.
Sunday, January 30, the library will be open noon to 11 pm, with no 24 hour access for Elon students. The library will close to the public at 9 pm.
Monday, January 31, the library will be open 8 am to 11 pm, with no 24 hour access for Elon students. The library will close to the public at 9 pm.
Tuesday, February 1, the library will resume regular hours for the spring semester, including 24 hour access for Elon students.

Here is the library’s schedule for the MLK Holiday weekend: on Saturday, January 15, Belk library will be open regular hours, 9 am to 9 pm. The library will close to the public at 5:00 pm.
On Sunday, January 16, the library will be open noon to 11 pm, with no overnight hours for Elon students and employees. The library will close to the public at 9 pm.
MLK day, Monday, January 17, is a university holiday. Belk Library will be open 9:00 am to 1:00 am; the library will close to the public at 9 pm. There will be overnight access for Elon students and employees after 1 am; please use the swipe card reader to enter the library.
Tuesday, January 18, the library will resume its regular schedule.

The new art exhibit by Peg Gignoux in the Oak Grove Lounge is part of the Alamance Reads “one community, one book” celebration. This year’s book is The Pleasure Was Mine by Tommy Hays and includes a character who attends the Penland School of Crafts in the North Carolina mountains. Peg is well-connected to Penland.
PAGES – MIXED MEDIA WORKS was created by Marguerite Jay Gignoux. Known for fabric and book arts, she leads collaborative workshops for all ages and is a former Penland student, mentor, and teacher – and also an Elon adjunct art professor who regularly teaches winter term courses in fabric arts, book making, and story illustration. The exhibit will be run through February 18.
ARTIST RELECTIONS – PENLAND CONNECTIONS – Artist’s talk and reception Saturday, Feb. 5, 2:00-5:00pm in Belk Library. The artist’s talk starts at 2:30pm.
ALAMANCE READS – Join the reading discussion by purchasing the book for only $5 at any Alamance County public library http://www.alamancereads.com/.

Here are the library’s hours for Winter Term, beginning January 4th (Please be aware that Belk Library closes to the public at 9:00 pm Sunday through Thursday nights, and at 5:00 pm on Friday and Saturday nights):
Monday through Thursday, regular library services, including reference and circulation, are open 7:30 am until 1:00 am. During the week, the first floor of the Library is open to Elon students and employees only from 1:00 am to 7:30 am overnight; please use the card swipe to enter the library.
On Friday, library services are open 7:30 am until 9:00 pm; the library is open to Elon students and staff only from 5:00 to 9:00 pm; please use the card swipe to enter the library.
On Saturday, library services are open 9 am until 9:00 pm; the library is open to Elon students and employees only from 5:00 to 9:00 pm; please use the card swipe to enter the library.
And on Sunday, library services are open 10:00 am until 1:00 am; the first floor of the library is open to Elon students and employees only from 1:00 am to 7:30 am overnight; please use the card swipe to enter the library.
