Program Coordinator and Membership Coordinator, Break Away

Break Away is a national nonprofit organization, based in Atlanta, GA, focused on developing active citizens – individuals who make community a priority in their values and life choices. We believe alternative breaks and similar community based-learning experiences can serve as a powerful catalyst to change the way students see the world and engage in it.
The Programs Coordinator will join the team responsible for training and consulting break programs during weekend and weeklong retreats, managing outward facing programming (such as social media, blog, and website) and overseeing other external programs that support both Chapter schools and alumni.
The Membership Coordinator will join the team responsible for communicating with and supporting our Chapter schools through ongoing consultation and resource development, maintaining internal constituent records, and executing the National Conference Call series.
Break Away currently works with more than 200 college and university chapters across the country sending more than 20,000 students to 2,000 communities contributing almost 3.5 million hours of direct service annually.

Job descriptions are available on the website. Applications accepted on a rolling basis.
