Reporting to the Vice Chancellor for Diversity and Community Engagement at the University of Mississippi, the Executive Director for the William Winter Institute for Racial Reconciliation is responsible for the planning, development and execution of an effective domestic and international racial reconciliation and community engagement program. In order to accomplish the programmatic mission of the Institute, this individual will foster teamwork; cultivate and maintain a great service culture; integrate, align and monitor policies, philosophies and organizational systems; and facilitate the formation and sustainability of equitable systems.
Minimum Requirements:
- Doctorate (or equivalent terminal degree);
- Distinguished record of racial reconciliation/anti-racism/community engagement achievement;
- Five (5) or more years of experience in non-profit or higher education administration;
- Eligibility for tenure or academic appointment will be considered.
